Wait — there’s more beyond the vehicles.

Keystone’s antique merchandise and memorabilia fill the spaces between the tractors and trucks: vintage signs, tobacco displays, soda bottles, model vehicles, and a remarkable collection of Winross die-cast trucks and other toys.

Look up and you’ll see walls lined with classic American road and brand signs — gas stations, soft drinks, farm supply, and more — that once directed travelers and shoppers across the countryside. Down at eye level, shelves of soda bottles, tobacco displays, and period packaging show how products were sold when local stores and roadside stops were the center of small-town life.

Model collectors will linger over more than 1,800 Winross trucks and other miniature vehicles and tractors, while curious visitors can spot unexpected household history too, including antique washing machines and other everyday machines from earlier decades. A large collection of Virginia-made products ties the displays to the Commonwealth’s own industrial and agricultural past.

Together these pieces round out the story of the machines on the floor — not just how America worked and farmed, but how it lived, shopped, and played. Come see why Keystone is one of the most popular museums in the country.
